Mobile Generation, the fastest growing Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer in the Midwest is currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our corporate team. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and improving the operations of the company by implementing efficient processes, managing resources, and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in the Wireless Industry, preferably with Verizon Wireless, and is well verse with managing and developing processes to insure the operational effectiveness of our Verizon Wireless retail locations throughout the Midwest.

The Mobile Generation Operations Manager will be responsible for:
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Ensure the efficient technical operations of our retail locations with our Point Of Sale system and various Verizon Wireless systems.
  • Manage resources to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and manage budgets for operations and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement plans for continuous improvement of operations, including process improvement initiatives and quality control.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective communication and execution of operational initiatives.
  • Develop and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Mobile Generation is looking for candidates with:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other Wireless business.
  • Technical expertise with computer systems to ensure systems are functioning in our retail locations and corporate offices as they should.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Ability to create reporting in a variety of formats to effectively communicate operational systems and strategies.
  • Ability to create and deliver training curriculum on Operational Practices and Policies to team members.
  • Ability to travel to our various locations across the Midwest and business needs dictate.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
