Job Title: Apprentice | Journeyman Electrician

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Temporary Work in California from December to January)

Salary: $32 – $38 per hour

Are you an experienced 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician looking for an opportunity to advance your career? We are seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals to join our dynamic team. You will begin with a travel assignment in California for 4-6 weeks in December through January, after which a permanent position will be available in Salt Lake City.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough troubleshooting to identify and rectify hazards or malfunctions, ensuring all work meets safety standards.
• Prepare and assemble conduits, connecting wiring through them efficiently.
• Connect wiring in various electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components for optimal performance.
• Install safety and distribution components, including switches, resistors, and circuit breaker panels.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of local and federal regulations related to electrical systems.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to discuss project details and updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills:

1. Strong values of honesty, courtesy, and professionalism.
2. Relevant experience in electrical repair, installation, and maintenance for commercial and industrial properties, including large new construction projects.
3. Proven track record working with commercial electrical systems.
4. Proficient in the use of electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeters) and adept at following blueprints and instructions.
5. In-depth knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and industry guidelines.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
7. Valid electrician’s license, as this is a lead technician position.
8. Self-motivated with a strong drive to deliver high-quality work on time.
9. Must be willing to operate a company vehicle.
