Microwave Techniques is a small Nashua NH company and global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-power industrial microwave systems. With over 40 years in the industry, our employees create and delivering state-of-the-art microwave systems for Scientific, Food Processing, Semiconductor, Plasma, Industrial Heating, and Industrial Drying applications.

We are looking for a Spare Part Sales Manager, to drives our spares and servicing departments. This is a complex and rewarding position a key contributor in the success of the company. The role will be involved in both retaining current customers and growing customer base. As part of the sales team, you will play a crucial role in establishing relationships in a way that is positive, honest, and professional. You will work in conjunction with our Systems Sales Team in fostering strong relations for continued spares parts sales.

The ideal candidate will possess previous manufacturing experience and or technical sales. Strong listening and communication skills, with an outgoing personality to build rapport with customers and provide excellent customer service.

What will you do in this role?

  • Facilitate the entire sales process from the initial call/email through finalization of order processing.
  • Build relationships by reaching out to current and previous customers to introduce yourself and refamiliarize with the company.

· Managing customers and support relationships globally (US, Japan, Australia, Europe, etc.)

· Point of contact, managing communication, throughout the post sales cycle.

· Managing regular and expedited parts shipments from our Nashua facility.

· Leads/coordinates freight quotes both domestic and international for shipping of large systems.

· Works with service team on scheduling system installs both domestic and international.

· Experience generating and managing sales to revenue and margin goals and developing strategic forecasting.

· Responsible for managing customers during equipment breakdown, assessing and escalating parts delivery and service technician dispatch when required.

· Coordinating and facilitating field service calls and trips.

  • Willing to research and understand our spares product’s both function and purpose, to better assist a customer.
  • Listen attentively to customer questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful to encourage product sale.
  • Participate in meetings to strategize and discuss benchmarks.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Must have manufacturing experience, understanding of BOM’s and inventory control.
  • 5 plus years of experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience selling spare parts in an industrial setting a plus.
  • Ability to use a CRM/ERP system as well as excel.
  • Previous leadership and goal oriented.
  • This is an onsite position.

This a Monday through Friday position, with occasional off hour requirements as needs arise. Compensation is base salary plus quarterly bonus structure.
