Description:
The Sales & Coating Engineer will design and develop optical lens coatings and prepare sales quotes for optics. This position will also be responsible for:
- Turning customer requirements or specifications into technical drawings
- Communicate with Vendors to develop costing
- Prepare and send Sales Quotations for optical lenses and Sub-Assemblies
- Develop Customer relationships
- Design and create coating designs and troubleshoot coatings
- Maintenance of Coating Chambers
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a US Citizen, a permanent legal resident or a protected individual (refugee status)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, optics, or related discipline with 1-3 years of experience minimum
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have a creative approach
- Engineering principles
- Knowledge of Coating Design Software TFCalc or equivalent
- Knowledge of precision optics
- Knowledge of Solidworks 3D Modeling is a plus
