OVERVIEW:

Sales Account Executives are responsible for making outbound sales efforts (calls, emails, campaigns, etc.) in order to identify, prospect, consult, and close new opportunities for payment processing. The ideal candidate is self-directed, self-motivated, and has a strong understanding of closing techniques and sales processes. The candidate is expected to meet monthly sales quotas, manage lead lists, organize lead activity, and collaborate effectively with colleagues. The goal is to provide the highest quality service to our prospects by establishing positive relationships based on empathy, professionalism, and respect.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Developing and managing sales pipelines, promoting, and representing the Fortis brand image and services to prospective clients
  • Build strong and meaningful relationships with prospects and merchants, growing your portfolio of business
  • Delivering concise and persuasive sales pitches over the phone and over email
  • Consistently communicating with prospects (i.e. outbound calls, email campaigns, etc.) with the goal of closing deals
  • Remaining responsive and available via phone and email for incoming communication from colleagues, prospects, and merchants
  • Recommending total solutions to customers with knowledge of credit card processing rates/fees, integrated technology, and client experiences
  • Willingness to travel to networking events and industry trade shows

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A great personality to connect with both prospects and our support team
  • Ability to effectively manage client prospecting and the sales cycle
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas as defined by Supervisor
  • Ability to develop and maintain meaningful referral relationships with clients
  • Experience following processes, exhibiting strong follow-through on tasks, managing time and responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain integrity through full disclosure of merchant agreement rates, fees, terms
  • Generate new ideas and methods for client prospecting and acquisition
