Position and Experience:

Tops and Trends is seeking a highly enthusiastic, outgoing and motivated Outside Sales Representative Apprentice for our Triad, NC team. Successful candidates will feel comfortable handling route sales and customer service for our established automotive dealership customer base. Our representatives are not required to cold call. Successful candidates quote and schedule work as needed, provide product and installation support, monitor dealer inventory, make suggestive selling recommendations and maintain good relationships. Candidates should be organized and efficient, possess a solid work ethic, comfortable multi-tasking and have the ability to provide high level customer service and satisfaction.


Outside Sales Representative Apprentice Responsibilities:

  • Conduct an average of (8-10) route-based appointments daily in Triad and surrounding areas
  • Ability to assess customer needs, provide quotes and schedule work
  • Lead product demonstration
  • Willingness to ask for the sale
  • Utilize CRM software to plan and record customer activity
  • Help coordinate workflows between sales and production
  • Schedule inbound and outbound vehicle deliveries
  • Perform customer service functions
  • Ability to be hands on and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist with quality control and final inspections

For this position, experience in outside sales is not required, but preferred. Two, (2) plus years of prior B2C, people-to-people marketing, customer service, wait staff, bartender or other equivalent required. Compensation and Team Benefits:

This is not a high-pressure commission only position but does have multiple bonus levels for those that do the job well. Our competitive compensation plan rewards those that succeed. Pay begins at $16 hour and those with experience earn more. In addition, we offer a complete package of benefits including:
