National Account Executive – Remote Schedule

Job Summary

BM2 Freight Services, Inc. is searching for a full-time, experienced National Account Executives to develop relationsips with potenial customers, onboard new business, manage existing accounts, and strategically grow accounts as their customers’ strategic business partner. National Account Executives are purely customer-facing and will work closely with the Carrier Sales teams to book and cover their customers’ freight.

National Account Executive responsibilities:

  • Leverage market insights to strategically target customers across all industry verticals
  • Prepare for sales calls by researching your prospective customers’ industries, prepare value propositions as needed, and conduct cold calls to build your book of business
  • Negotiate and quote rates
  • Build and manage loads in our transportation management system
  • Ensure account growth and development through strategic decision making while upholding BM2’s level of service
  • Manage daily shipments and resolve customer issues
  • Work with recruiting team to hire in-office support once volume reaches 200+ loads per month 
  • Follow weekly ramp schedule to meet sales quotas and achieve overall gross profit goals 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of customer sales experience in a 3PL setting with proven track record of account growth
  • 3+ years of cold calling experience
  • Ability to generate leads & meet daily activity requirements 
  • Transferrable book of business (preferred, not required)
  • No non-compete agreement
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with closing sales deals
  • Previous freight sales experience preferred
  • Proficient written and verbal communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comuter literacy and internet knowledge
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills

Why BM2 Freight?

  • $60,000 – $80,000 base salary + uncapped commission
  • Remote schedule: Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM EST
