Job Summary:

Hulu is seeking a Manager, Brand Social who will be an exceptional leader within our growing Brand team. In this role, you will set the social strategy across Hulu brand content verticals and titles, working closely with the Marketing, Publicity, Content and Creative departments. This position will work closely with creative teams to direct and deliver create excellence for the Hulu Brand channels. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who can motivate, train and manage a team of social media strategists.

Responsibilities

  • Manage social media team members and/or vendor relationships.
  • Lead Brand verticals including Brand & Culture, Live, Licensed, Inclusive Marketing, etc. as assigned.
  • Be a strategic leader within the Brand Social team, guiding the social efforts for campaigns and cementing processes and operations to make the team more efficient/effective.
  • Be a cross-functional teammate who engages, listens and collaborates with internal teams on Hulu’s overall marketing strategy, specifically related to creative, copy and shoots.
  • Lead and review work of the creative teams to make sure it’s on strategy and meet campaign goals.
  • Develop strong working relationships with studios, talent, and affiliate partners, acting as a central hub for social-related questions and issues.
  • Be an inspiring peer and help develop out of the box and first-to-market experiences, activations, and content that will drive social conversations and increase brand love.
  • Take BIG swings with ideas to create first-of-its-kind social content experiences.
  • Drive the organic and paid social content strategy to cultivate deeper conversation and earned media.
  • Analyze key performance metrics regularly, making necessary recommendations for improvement.
  • Management of Brand Social budget and invoicing.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of social media marketing & strategy experience at a media/entertainment brand, network, studio or advertising agency.
  • 5+ years of experience in physical production and creative producing of short-form content.
  • 2+ years of management experience leading social media professionals & agencies.
  • A portfolio of work that showcases delivering results for high impact social media campaigns including strategy, ideation, and execution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and collaborative working style – ability to inspire, motivate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Experience in Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, Premiere, etc.
  • Experience managing external agencies/partners/talent without oversight.
  • Experience presenting campaigns and delivering results to external talent and partners as well as internal senior executives.
  • Strong ability to make sound copy decisions using intuition and data.
  • Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Experience using publishing and measurement software: Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, Netbase, ListenFirst, CrowdTangle, Tubular, Helixa, Kantar.

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $90,480.00 to $124,410.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
