If so, the National Account Executive is responsible for managing all available resources to our FMO partners to help achieve sales growth, improve results and operational goals within the assigned market while also helping to coordinate on a national level. The National Account Executive – FMO develops and maintains relationships with small and medium-sized accounts. The National Account Executive implements and manages strategic action plans for MarketPoint’s External Partner Distribution channel, creating a positive first impression of Humana, building trust and sharing the company’s value proposition. In this position, you will support partners in all sales-oriented activities; including agent appointments, training, marketing and enrollment; provides support throughout the post-sales process, including compliance and compensation activities, to achieve revenue targets; and troubleshoots issues.

Specific responsibilities:

Coordinate with sales teams and Humana internal departments to effectively onboard new partners and maintain existing relationships
Deliver high-touch personalized service in order to build, grow and maintain strong and profitable external relationships
Develop tools to enhance efficiencies making Humana easy to work with and the carrier of choice for external agencies
Meet measurable success criteria to monitor individual progress toward departmental goals

Required qualifications:

Associate’s Degree
3+ years of Medicare experience
Valid Health Insurance License (must obtain within 90 days of hire)
1+ years of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
1+ year of account management experience or related area
1+ year of presentation experience in mid to large group setting (all levels of leadership)
Able to travel 25% of the time or based upon business need
Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role). Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25×10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
A dedicated space conducive to learning and keeping protected health information (PHI / HIPAA) of our members confidential. Your designated work location must be located away from other household distractions, including but not limited to ensuring that alternate caregiving arrangements are made for dependents or other members in the household.

Position can be located anywhere in the continental US
Travel: This position could require approximately 25% travel
Upon offer acceptance you must be able to complete and pass the AHIP certification (paid for by Humana)
Schedule is b etween the hours of 9:00am-5pm EST (Monday-Friday) some possible weekends and overtime but only as needed by the business.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$90,800 – $124,900 per yearThis job is eligible for a commission incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
