The Clinton Electric Company is actively seeking an experienced GENERATOR SALESPERSON to work in the Greater Baltimore region. This full-time position markets our generator installation and service capabilities and receives competitive pay plus commission.

Generator Sales Responsibilities:

  • Explain the generator installation process and properly scale units to need
  • Utilize all sales tools provided including but not limited to sales brochures, iPad, and manufacturer sales programs
  • Achieve sales goals based on volume to support revenue growth and profitability
  • Develop qualified leads within territory to drive new sales opportunities
  • Ensure customer accounts are properly serviced throughout the process
  • Communicate job scope and specifications with photos and notes

Required Skills:

  • 2 years sales experience; aptitude to learn and utilize sales tactics a must
  • Previous in-home sales or electrical experience a plus
  • Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent walking/kneeling and bending throughout the day
  • Read, write, and speak English, and basic math ability
  • Must have a valid Class C driver license and be insurable (25+ years old)
  • Pre-employment substance abuse testing, background check and immigration certification required
