As BDR, you will be responsible for generating qualified prospects using cold email, cold calling, social selling, and networking. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who is comfortable contacting leads over the phone and in person, can learn and adapt quickly, and find reward in building a strong sales organization. Consistently meeting sales goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction is a must. You will need to demonstrate a track record of excellence as a team player who is also self-motivated, reliable, and coachable.

  • Communicate daily with prospects and clients
  • Actively build and maintain a pipeline of ongoing opportunities & leads
  • Mine existing customers for other opportunities and revenue
  • Prospect, educate, develop, and qualify potential accounts for sales reps
  • Explore partnership opportunities with industry suppliers and groups
  • Participate in ongoing sales and product training
  • Work closely with Sales Team weekly
  • Be collaborative and ready to tackle new challenges each day
  • Challenge the status quo when you see opportunities for team improvement

  • 5 years’ experience within the construction project, events industry and/or audio-visual fields is preferred in a business development capacity
  • Understanding of social media, digital marketing strategies, search optimization, and e-marketing
  • Intense work ethic and outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Creative mindset and ability to quickly pick up concepts and product information
  • Results-driven personality (base salary with performance-based commission)
  • Outstanding, positive attitude and pleasant demeanor
  • Not afraid to take initiative and driven to succeed
  • Desire to always learn more
  • Ability to organize multiple workflows and stay organized
  • Career oriented with an eye to future opportunities
  • Adept at quickly connecting and developing relationships
  • Ideal candidate will have pre existing relationships with Architects, General Contractors, and/or Developers particularly in the greater Maryland /DC/ VA areas- (FL and Manhattan are helpful as well)
  • Demonstrated ability to connect through industry associations and events
