Job Summary:

  • Driving an integral role in the customer experience, the Business Development Representative is trained to be responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships. Automotive experience is NOT required. We’re looking for teammates with a passion for customer service and a DRIVE TO WIN.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answers all incoming phone calls according to a proven, pre-set script, and schedules a sales or service appointment.
  • Logs all customer comments into Dealership Management System.
  • Schedules follow-up contact if no appointment is made in the Dealership Management System.
  • Confirms scheduled appointments with future customers.
  • Posts scheduled appointments on appointment board in the Business Development Center.
  • Re-schedules “no-show” customer appointments.
  • Follows up with sales or service department to determine if the appointment was kept and what the outcome was. Schedules future contact as needed.
  • Maintains and updates customer changes in database.
  • Contacts current customer base on current marketing incentives.
  • Responds to customer website requests (internet inquiries).
  • Contacts internet clients via e-mail and phone to schedule a sales or service appointment.
  • Notifies necessary departments to inform of appointments set.
  • Forwards any customer concerns to correct Department Manager and follows up.
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures.
  • Engages in business development.
  • Establishes, develops and maintains positive business and customer relationships.
  • Continuously improves through feedback.

Essential Job Skills:

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred, Customer Service, Telephone skills, Typing, Reporting skills, Data Entry, Problem Solving, Organization.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • College Degree, High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory Customer Service work experience.
