Automotive Customer Service Specialist/BDC

Job Summary

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be assisting our clients with their service-related inquiries on their Hondas via email and phone, scheduling appointments for after-sale accessory installations, supporting our Sales and Service team with internal repair orders, producing daily Service metric reports, assisting the Warranty Admin, etc., among other service-related projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer all calls promptly in a positive and professional manner
  • Actively listen to the customer’s inquiries and requests while asking questions and verifying information throughout the process to ensure a “great first impression.”
  • Review customer’s service history and update customer information as needed
  • Schedule after-sale Accessory Installations
  • Work together with the parts department to ensure parts are in stock for scheduled repairs
  • Be patient and maintain composure at all times
  • Promptly address customers questions or concerns during their visit or after the work has been completed
  • Work closely with Sales associates and Used Car Department to assist clients
  • Create Daily Service Metric Reports for Service Department
  • Assist Warranty Administrator with Honda warranty and extended warranty claim submissions
  • Assist Service Team and Service director with service-related projects as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is preferred but not required
  • Consent to a background check and drug screening
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license
