The Automotive Assistant Sales Manager/Team Leader must consistently and profitably meet vehicle sales quotas through expert management and leadership of the sales team and by forecasting sales and maintaining proper inventory levels in terms of amount and vehicle types. In addition, the Automotive Assistant Sales Manager/Team Leader hires, trains, and monitors team member performance; resolves customer complaints; and helps with closings when necessary.

  • Hires, trains, and monitors team member performance.
  • Ensures all sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Manage, train and direct a team of Sales Professionals.
  • Encourage and motivate Sales Professionals daily to maintain high moral.
  • Maintain an owner follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
  • Continually learn about product updates, features, accessories, inventory and their benefits to the customer.
  • Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and be devoted to guaranteeing satisfaction to our customers.
  • Establish personal goals that are consistent with the dealerships standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Learn to overcome objections; ask for the sale; negotiate price; complete sales or purchase agreement; explain and offer warranties service and finance.
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.


  • Must have 2 years + proven sales experience (automotive sales experience only need apply).
  • Sales experience with verifiable proof of meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outgoing personality and willing to work with the public on a daily basis.
  • Highly professional and dependable.
  • Proficient computer and internet skills.
  • Confidence in your ability to be successful.
  • A desire to work in a commission, performance-based environment.
  • Must be a strong closer with the ability to ask for the sales and follow through.
  • Must be a team leader with the ability to train, manage, and build a strong sales team.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Self-starter and self-motivator.
  • Ability to work in a process driven environment.
  • Bilingual a PLUS!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,500.00 – $10,000.00 per month
