In business for over 44 years, Heath Care Logistics (HCL) is the health care industry leader specializing in manufacturing, packaging, and distributing unique and hard-to-find products. Complete customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do.  We serve hospital systems and independent providers all across the country, and we are seeking qualified candidates for Account Manager positions.

This position has an assigned book of business, and a great deal of opportunity for new business development will be developed and supported both at the individual and team level. Training is provided and there is the opportunity to take on additional responsibility and larger accounts as HCL grows.

This is an ideal position for someone who wants to be a part of a sales team in a growing successful company, interested in inside sales with limited travel, and have a Monday to Friday work schedule where you never take work home!

Some of the things you will do as the Account Manager

  • Schedule outside sales visits and process outbound calls to market product sales; identify needs and opportunities; and find solutions for customers
  • Prospect, lead generations, follow-up, expand territory by growing contacts in other departments
  • Receive customers’ calls, faxes and emails and provide quotes and/or information about products & services; processes concerns/problems; and enter orders using company software.
  • Attend trade shows and set up booth and markets products
  • Cross sell and up-sell to all customers
  • Provide the customers with the opportunity to receive a sample, promotional product or evaluation order and follow-up in a timely manner to close sale
  • Troubleshoot work-related problems by sharing new ideas with other team members and supervisors and take responsibility for and ownership of departmental success
  • Introduce/discuss our top product lines to every customer
  • Work with all company departments/teams to facilitate customer solutions: Manufacturing, Resource, Accounting, Returns, etc.
  • Attend new and existing products training and team meetings
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Type

  • Full Time
  • Office Hours: 8:00 am – 8:30 pm
  • Hours worked will be on-site, in our offices either in Grove City or Circleville, Ohio

Desired Major/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  Communications, Marketing or English majors are often successful in this position.
  • The ideal candidate has 1-5 years of experience in inside sales/phone sales.

Qualifications

In addition to a college degree, the ideal candidate for this position will possess/will be:

  • 1-5 years of experience in inside sales
  • An ability to work well and closely with others
  • Must have ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint at a high level
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
  • Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to communicate confidently, clearly, and effectively

Salary Level/Compensation

Base compensation: Based on experience.
