Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for increasing our sales revenue and maintaining customer relationships.

This role will require outstanding organizational and sales skills. Additionally, this position requires excellent communication and the ability to understand and identify customer needs. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to provide win/win scenarios for both our company and our customers to create partnerships with expectations of strong sales growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work with the General Manager to create marketing tools. (catalogs, brochures, etc.).
  • Service new and existing customer accounts.
  • Provide training when necessary.
  • Visit accounts to improve and/or build relationships.
  • Provide feedback to General Manager on how to improve quality, etc., if necessary.
  • Trade shows.
  • Work to increase sales and customer base.
  • Proficient in Polyshot Database software.
  • Attend mold/Hot runner trials.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No supervisory responsibilities.


Education and/or Experience

BS/BA in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred and equivalent work experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or

governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to

effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area,

circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited

standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Project Management

software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Proficient in MS Office Utilize. Knowledge of CoopDigity

Software and Pipeline (CRM).

Other Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Area Manager.

• Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Organizational and leadership ability.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

• Must be able to travel by air and car.
