Account Manager

*Currently in office 3 days (Tues/Wed/Thurs) and remaining 2 days are WFH if located in Detroit Metro Area.

This position is responsible for the ownership and development of ongoing client relationships including budgeting, forecasting and program revenue growth. The Account Manager will maintain client satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service and value. As the Account Manager, you will assume full ownership of program planning, design, execution, and client satisfaction & interaction.

Requirements:

Responsibilities of Account Manager:

  • Responsible for RFP/RFQs, sales and program opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Ownership of revenue and plan within assigned accounts.
  • Lead weekly and monthly calls and quarterly business reviews.
  • Building relationships with clients to create long-term advocates.
  • Collaborates with merchandising, marketing and information technology on resources and strategies to deliver results and creative solutions.
  • Manages program and project-based opportunities through closed/won.
  • Understands and calculates financial information to ensure profitable sales results.
  • Develops and maintains budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitors competitive products and marketing activities.
  • Responsible for tracking and measuring success of business efforts.

Education/Experience of Account Manager:

  • 5+ years Account Management or Business Development experience, preferably within Fortune 500 accounts.
  • Exemplary customer service.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales or business opportunities through client development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Creativity and experience in product and/or concept development is a plus.
